The ceiling design intent for this 75,000 square foot trading floor renovation was to provide calm to the 256-desk bull pen – a space regularly filled with technology-fueled anxiety. Newmat’s double-layer NewLight System provided the desired effect with 29 large back-lit glowing oval shapes that emanate from towering, tapered structural columns. The double-layer system ensures that no debris, dust, or other particles are deposited and possibly seen on the finished ceiling layer, and the resulting unified and serene visual flow provides an aesthetically pleasing even luminosity.
